Road Trip Day 4, 5 & 6: Key West

Beach, Key West

This road trip was a total blur, but we did have a chance to relax on the beach one day.

Casa Marina Key WestLiterally, one day. George got so sunburnt that he had to wear my pajama pants! (See above!!!!) To be honest, I got a little burnt too and I never burn!

GeorgeI still love this handsome dude even if he wears pajamas to dinner in Key West.

Banana tree George and I flipped over this banana tree. I guess we’ve never seen one in bloom. It looks like something from “Little Shop of Horrors,” no?

The Southernmost house

The Southernmost house

The Southernmost PointMy pictures don’t do it justice. Next time I’m scheduling more beach time and maybe getting a base tan first!

love,
melanie

We really enjoy your style and info writing. My bride of 32 years worked
with me as Teaching Houseparents with 16 boys in our cottage living &
impressing upon them life skills at Bethesda Home in Savannah, GA..
Next time y’all go we highly recommend Loves Catfish, Mrs. Jones
where the southern food is brought out to large round tables with lazy
Susan’s in the middle all you can eat. Everyone talks about A Lady &
Sons ( Paula Deans) but I appreciate Mrs. Jones for lunch a lot more, better food and better price. Walk down on River Street in the evening and get pralines OMGoodness, WOW! Now at Loves y’all used to get 20 large count boiled shrimp but I’m not sure now 2015. Ask around or email me and I’ll ask some kin folks. There is a RV camp out on Tybee
Island sand & all, but check prices and look for coupon at bureaus.
